Smartphone Camera, Selfie, Low light – Action!
It took a little time to get this post about new Smartphone launches addressing selfie and low light portraits.
(IPL is long time back and Cricket World cup is on).
Vivo and Oppo launched two new phone models during IPL. It was an interesting battle of advertising between the two.
While Vivo roped Amir Khan and used a little bit of animation, Oppo used common settings where pics are taken – focusing on low light portraits. Vivo is more about selfie phone and Oppo tries to solve a big pain of bad quality pictures on low light (demonstration appeal).
Also, music is integral to both ads. Vivo used AronChupa – I’m an Albatraoz as background music and I feel Vivo wins hands down.
