The festival season is back and Diwali (Happy Diwali to all readers) is just a few days away. The one segment of marketers (e-commerce) is killing each other to sell more and more at a loss, consequently they all are bleeding. One the other side, we see some regular Diwali ads laced with emotional sedatives to appeal to consumers, to build a positive image. A typical theme is to mix some social cause in the ads to display brand as a progressive brand, hoping it appeals to young India
The first one is from Pentaloon which talks about first love.
 
Another one is from a surprising brand Ghadi which touches the theme of house maids and cleverly mixes the cleaning aspect of Diwali.

But the final frontier is captured by HP for their #GoLocal ad. A much refreshing and relevant theme which is already viral and covered by media.
