Independence day and Raksha Bandhan on the same day, along with birth day of Rajani Sir and launch of much anticipated #SacredGames S2 (the master of Internet memes – Gaitoned) provided enough of excellent opportunities to brands to showcase their creativity on social media. Continuing the review of weekly ads on digital/social platforms, here are some of my favorites.
Lets start with none other than Amul. Sweet and cute take on Raksha Bandhan with the universal pair of bread and butter which are literally bread and butter for Amul revenues. Then a little unknown ganpati day was used by Cycle agarbatti who regularly use religious/auspicious days and there are plenty (almost every day).
For independence day, some used the textual (gyan stuff) and some used the background of tricolor to wish Indians. While mad over Marketing joined gyan brigade, Rasna and Durex (yes you read it right) used colors.
Social media was also abuzz with long awaited and highly visible launch of #SacredGames Season 2. Domino’s made full use of the launch.
